This is a recurring event beginning on Wednesday, September 7, 2016

Hancock Recreation Center

1610 Hubbard Ave
Saint Paul, MN

First Wednesday of the month, September–December & February–June.

Description: Monthly gatherings to allow teens to hang out and to plan social activities, which are held at various locations.

MNHT's goal is to provide a social outlet for homeschooled teens. Members value and respect different educational philosophies, political affiliations, and religious views.

There are number of rooms available for the group to use there including a kitchen, lounge, art room, dance studio, and meeting rooms. There are also volunteer opportunities and activities for teens outside of our meeting times.

Target age range: an inclusive group for teens, ages 12 to 18 years, who are homeschooling in Minnesota

Cost per teen: a $2 fee is requested to help pay the monthly rent of the space

Sibling policy: Siblings under the age of 12 may accompany the parent, however, siblings must stay with the parent and priority of space is allocated to the teens.
Parent/guardian/educator policy: This is not a drop off event. An adult is expected to attend the monthly meetings and be responsible for the teens they brought with them. Parents must stay with their teens or ask a parent that is staying to be responsible for their teen(s). Parents are also encouraged to join the list and help their teens plan events.
