Description: Immerse your students in history as they experience a day in a one-room school! They'll use slates and chalk to do their school work, play old fashioned recess games, and be taught by an in-character school marm from the 1900's.
The day will go as follows:
- 10:30am - Tour the grounds, taking a peek into several of the 22 buildings that have been preserved from that time period.
- 11:30am - Break for lunch. Pack a bag lunch for your kids, and they'll get a chance to eat it in the yard. Afterwards, they'll serve everyone hand-dipped ice cream cones. (If you have children that can't eat ice cream, perhaps you could send along a special treat for them.)
- 12:15pm - School house experience!
