Professional Naturalists work with homeschoolers to provide quality environmental, recreational, and natural history programming on the third Thursday of each month, 10am-12pm and 1pm–3pm.

Description: Have you ever wondered what all those birds are chattering about? Birds act as the alarm system of the forest, broadcasting information about predators. See if you can tune in to what they are saying, and learn how to use that knowledge to see more wildlife.

Wargo homeschool programs are science-based and will fit well with your homeschool curriculum. Environmental education programs allow children to discover the natural environment, learn about nature through hands on activities, and HAVE FUN!

Target grade level: for 3rd through 5th grades

Cost per child/student: $5 plus sales tax
Cost per adult/educator: free
