Apple Cider

Description: Come to Westwood to learn the history and techniques that go into the apple cider making process. Discuss how apples grow, the importance of pollinators and use an old fashioned cider press to make cider. Bring your muscles and taste buds!

Target age range: for ages 5–12 years

Cost per child/student: $7 ($5/St Louis Park resident)
Cost per adult/educator: free

Sibling policy: Non-enrolled siblings (younger or older) may accompany their parents but may not participate in the program. Parents are asked to use their best judgement as to whether or not their non-participating children will be disruptive to the program.
Parent/guardian/educator Policy: Children should be accompanied by a parent or other responsible adult.
