Wargo Nature Center

Rice Creek Chain of Lakes Regional Park Reserve

7701 Main St
Lino Lakes, MN 55038

Hundreds of years before Wargo Nature Center existed, the Dakota people lived along the Rice Creek and gathered the wild rice the creek is named for. This month we’ll learn about what their lives were like back then. We’ll also do a craft project to help us prepare for next month, when we will build a traditional Native American winter home. Pre-registration is required.

Target Grade Level: Grades K-2

Cost per Child/Student: $5 plus tax
Cost per Adult/Educator: free

Registration: register online at www.maxsolutionsonline.com/anoka/Customer/HomePage.aspx

Professional Naturalists work with homeschoolers to provide quality environmental, recreational and natural history programming on the third Thursday of each month.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations that are received less than 7 days before the event will not be refunded. Any changes to the event must be made at least 7 days prior to the scheduled program.
