Art in the Park: Water Posters

Description: Why is water important? Join Minneapolis Institute of Art in answering this question. Drawing inspiration from artworks found at Minneapolis Institute of Art, Spirit Lake Dakota Artist Marlena Myles in collaboration with Center School youth artists created an art lesson to honor the importance of water in our lives. Using stencils and mixed media, students will create a poster to share what they know.

Target age range: for ages 5–12 years
