Professional Naturalists work with homeschoolers to provide quality environmental, recreational, and natural history programming on the third Thursday of each month, 10am-12pm and 1pm–3pm.

Description: Well, what do you do to prepare for winter? Some animals stay active all year around. Some of them fly away to a warmer climate. And some of them cozy- up and sleep all winter long. Which would you like to do? Pre-registration is required.

Wargo homeschool programs are science-based and will fit well with your homeschool curriculum. Environmental education programs allow children to discover the natural environment, learn about nature through hands on activities, and HAVE FUN!

Target grade level: for Kindergarten through 2nd grades

Cost per child/student: $5 plus sales tax
Cost per adult/educator: free

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations that are received less than 7 days before the event will not be refunded. Any changes to the event must be made at least 7 days prior to the scheduled program.
