Information for makers

Description: Show and sell your creations! Games, toys, clothing, artwork, writings, etc. If you made it, you can sell it at the Makers Market!

Cost per booth: $5

Target age range: All homeschooled children are welcome to participate. Makers Market is serious about inclusivity. Makers Market is an inclusive secular homeschool event that does not discriminate based on race, color, national origin, ancestry, familial status, marital status, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, disability or handicap, veteran status, economic status, religion, or homeschooling philosophy or style.

Please note that our agreement with Solomon's Porch restricts Maker booths to homeschool students (including recent homeschool graduates). While parental assistance and support are expected during the making (and selling) process, no parent-made creations should be sold. Thanks for your cooperation and understanding!

This is a cooperative event!

This event is wholly organized by homeschool families — meaning homeschooling moms, homeschooling dads and homeschooled kids just like you! The organizing of this event is an all-volunteer effort. Please volunteer to help make it awesome!

  • If a registered maker sees something to be done, the maker should offer to do it!
  • All registered makers are expected to help ensure a successful event for everyone by working to promote their own booth and the Makers Market in general to their family, friends, neighbors, and community!
  • All registered makers are expected to help with both set up (9:30 am–10 am) and clean up (3 pm–3:30 pm).
  • To avoid disruption to other makers and their shoppers (and to improve your own sales), all makers should plan to be set up and ready to sell by 10 am.

Sales: Each maker is responsible for their own sales. The organizers recommend that you be prepared to make change for cash purchases.
