Homeschool: Survival and Keeping Warm

Description: Practice survival techniques such as fire and shelter building. Explore winter ecology and survival strategies for plants and animals.

Activities take place on snowshoes if conditions allow.

Bring a sack lunch.

Target age range: This program is designed for the skills and interests of children ages 8 – 16 years.

Cost per child/student: $10
Scholarships are available.
Cost per adult/educator: free

Sibling policy: If you plan to bring siblings outside the target age range, please contact Baker Near-Wilderness Settlement at 763-694-7856 to let them know ahead of time.
Parent/guardian/educator policy: This is a drop-off program. Parents are welcome to stay but may be asked to assist during the program.
