Description: Join us at the Nature Center as we learn proper preparation for winter weather conditions. We will discuss important safety and problem solving techniques for surviving the outdoors. Put these skills to the test as we make a survival shelter outside.

Target age range: for ages 5–12 years

Cost per child/student: $7 ($5/St Louis Park resident)
Cost per adult/educator: free

Sibling policy: Non-enrolled siblings (younger or older) may accompany their parents but may not participate in the program. Parents are asked to use their best judgement as to whether or not their non-participating children will be disruptive to the program.
Parent/guardian/educator Policy: Children must be accompanied by a parent or other responsible adult.
