Featuring some of the best Twin Cities talent, these concerts are held in Courtroom 317 on the third floor of the Landmark Center in downtown Saint Paul.

Courtroom Concerts are scheduled to end at 1pm, but they sometimes extend beyond this time. If you do need to leave before the concert concludes, please do so in a quiet and respectful manner.

Composer-in-Residence, Abbie Betinis, writes music called “inventive, richly melodic” (The New York Times), “superb, whirling, soaring” (Tacoma News Tribune), and “the highlight” of the program (Boston Globe). With over 50 commissioned works for ensembles such as Cantus, the New England Philharmonic, and The Rose Ensemble, Abbie has been awarded a McKnight Composer Fellowship, grants from the American Composers Forum, ASCAP, and Jerome Foundation, and was recently listed in NPR Music’s Top 100 Composers Under 40. A resident of Saint Paul, she is adjunct professor of composition at Concordia University, and was composer-in-residence with the Schubert Club from 2005-2017.

Reservations: No pre-registration. Seating is general admission. First come first served. Doors open at 11:30am. This concert series is quite popular, so you may want to try to arrive 10-15 minutes early if possible as many concerts do fill to capacity.

Groups: Please call 651-292-3267 if you are attending as a group of 10 or more. To ensure your group finds seating together, you should arrive 30 to 15 minutes early.

Accommodations: Please call 651-292-3267 if you have specific seating requirements. The Landmark Center is handicapped accessible by entering on Market Street. Large print programs are available by contacting the Schubert Club at least 24 hours in advance.

Parking: It is best to park in one of the nearby parking ramps, as the meters in the area expire after 1 hour. The closest ramp is the Lawson Commons Ramp.
