Description: Get into the flow! This experience is all about how water travels through plants' from tiny root hairs that absorb water to stomates that release water vapor from the leaf, observe and test the functions of plants to take in move and use water. Each student will create their own propagation experiment to test the theories of how plants utilize water. Zoom in using microscopes to explore different parts of the plant that transport water, visit our greenhouse to feel the effect of all the leaky leaves, and set up a take home experiment to see how well cuttings do at two different humidity levels.
