Homeschool: Winter Adaptations and Snowshoe

Description: Learn how animals survive the harshest of winters. Snowshoe to find evidence of active animals. We will hike if no snow. Reservations required by January 26.

Adult leaders are free of charge and required to attend and participate with students ages 11 and younger; ages 12 and older may attend unaccompanied with a signed waiver.

Cost per child/student: $5, all materials and boots provided
Scholarships are available.
Cost per adult/educator: free

Target age range: This program is designed for the skills and interests of children ages 6-12 years

Sibling policy: If you plan to bring children outside the target age range, please contact Coon Rapids Dam Regional Park at 763-694-7790 to let them know ahead of time.
Parent/guardian/educator policy: Adults are required to attend with students ages 11 years and younger. Students ages 12 and up may attend unaccompanied with a waiver signed by a parent or guardian.
