Farm Laboratory - Milk

Description: Explore the magic of milk through “moo-valous” experiments! Using the scientific method, students will work in small groups to conduct experiments under the supervision of the farm educator. Visit the dairy cow to see how she is cared for.

Target age range: Farm Laboratory is designed for the skills and interests of children ages 9 to 13.

Cost per child/student: $10
Cost per adult/educator: free, welcome as assistants to farm educator

Maximum class size: 12 students
If the class is full, call Gale Woods Farm at 763-694-2001 to be placed on the wait list. Additional educators will be added, as available, if there is sufficient interest.

Parent/guardian/educator policy: Farm Laboratory is a drop-off class. Parents are welcome to attend in the role of volunteer assistants to the Farm Educator.
