Description: LISTEN to the happy sounds of the charango and PLAY the rhythmic cullus (rattles), bombos (drums), and sonajas (bell shakers). CREATE your own sonaja to wear as you LEARN to dance and sing a traditional San Juan with Leo and Kathy Lara.

Play, listen, learn and create with music. Kidsjam workshops are led by a diverse array of musicians and performing artists. Experience live music, get involved through creative activities and movement, and learn about the people, cultures and sounds behind the music.

Target age range: for ages 5-12 years, no prerequisite skills necessary

Cost per child/student: $5
Cost per adult/educator: free with student participant

Sibling policy: All children in attendance must have a ticket.
