ECHO-MN (Eclectic Community of Homeschooling Opportunities in Minnesota)
Description: ECHO-MN is an outreach group designed to help families learn about homeschooling. ECHO provides this support via Yahoo Group communication and connecting families with homeschooling support groups.
ECHO grew out of an unmet need of support for families homeschooling their young children, and ECHO originally stood for Early Childhood Homeschooling Opportunities. As the years have passed and the founders' children have grown, the group has transformed into the more broadly based support organization it is today.
Children's Ages: all ages
Costs: Nothing! No dues are required to be on the Yahoo Group or attend most ECHO functions. On very rare occasions ECHO may ask attendees for a small donation to help defray the cost of a particular event.
