The 1600-acre park offers a wide spectrum of recreation opportunities including

Bunker Hills is also home to the Anoka County Veteran's Memorial. 


Getting There

Parking Information: All motorized vehicles are required to purchase a vehicle entry permit to the regional parks.

Driving Directions: 

From Minneapolis: I-35W north to Hwy 10 west; follow five miles to Hwy 65 north; follow eight miles to County Hwy 14/Main St (Old Hwy 242) and turn left (go west); follow three miles to Foley Blvd and turn right (go north) into the park. Follow the directional signs at each intersection.

From St. Paul: I-35E north to I-694 west; follow five miles to I-35W north; follow four miles to Hwy 10 west; follow five miles to Hwy 65 north; follow 10 miles to County Hwy 14/Main St (Old Hwy 242) and turn left (go west); follow four miles to Foley Blvd and turn right (go north) into the park. Follow the directional signs at each intersection.

From Andover: Take Bunker Lake Blvd to the park entrance located two miles east of Hanson Blvd on Bunker Lake Blvd. Following the directional signs at each intersection in the park.

From Anoka, Ramsey: Take County Hwy 14/Main St (Old Hwy 242) (Main St) east to the park entrance at the intersection of County Hwy 14/Main St (Old Hwy 242) and Foley Blvd (approximately two miles after you cross Hanson Blvd). Turn left (go north) into the park. Follow the directional signs at each intersection.

From Lino Lakes: Take County Hwy 14/Main St (Old Hwy 242) (Main St) west to the park entrance at the intersection of County Hwy 14/Main St (Old Hwy 242) and Foley Blvd (approximately three miles after you cross Hwy 65). Turn right (go north) into the park. Follow the directional signs at each intersection.

From Blaine, Fridley, Columbia Heights, Spring Lake Park: Take Hwy 65 (Central Ave) north to County Hwy 14/Main St (Old Hwy 242) (Main St) and turn left. Take County Hwy 14/Main St (Old Hwy 242) (Main St) west three miles to the park entrance at the intersection of County Hwy 14/Main St (Old Hwy 242) and Foley Blvd. Turn right (go north) into the park. Follow the directional signs at each intersection.

From Ham Lake: Take Hwy 65 (Central Ave) south to County Hwy 14/Main St (Old Hwy 242) (Main St) and turn right. Take County Hwy 14/Main St (Old Hwy 242) (Main St) west three miles to the park entrance at the intersection of County Hwy 14/Main St (Old Hwy 242) and Foley Blvd. Turn right (go north) into the park. Follow the directional signs at each intersection.
