Homeschool classes

Homeschool Gym & Swim is a co-ed physical education program designed to provide homeschool students an opportunity to strengthen their motor skills in a safe and fun environment. The goal of the program is to help each student understand the importance of good health, fair play and teamwork. YMCA coaches understand that each child learns and develops at different levels, so structured activities are adapted to meet each child’s needs.

These classes consist of 50 minutes of organized games in the gym and 50 minutes of open swim.

Classes are broken into two main age groups: 5–8 years old and 9–12 years old.

Swim lessons are available at an additional cost; please contact Amy Watson at 651-683-4712.

Arts programs for ages 6–11 years encourage personal expression and the freedom to create as well as giving participants new experiences. Celebrate diversity and the arts everywhere within the Y environment. Kids develop confidence and increased self-awareness as they explore and express themselves through art and language. The maximum arts class size is 8 participants.

Sibling policy: Eagan Y offers up to 2 hours of Kids Stuff child care for siblings for a small fee.
Parent/guardian/educator policy: Parents are required to stay in the building while children participate in classes or Kids Stuff. The Eagan Y offers a spacious lobby with comfortable seating, free WiFi.
