Discover Theatre History - Tours are Open to the Public!
Take a walking tour of Hennepin Theatre Trust’s State, Orpheum or Pantages Theatre! Experienced guides highlight architecture and historical facts and stories about the venues that anchored the region’s “Theatre Row”. Each tour accesses the theatres’ interiors and provides a fascinating historical perspective that patrons cannot experience when attending an event. The tours give theatre patrons, historians, students and others a personal introduction to these historic gems, providing an insider’s view. Each tour lasts approximately one hour. Tours are only open to those ages 8 and up.
Group Tours are available by request between 8:00am and 6:00pm, any day of the week depending on availability. Groups can request to see one, two or all three theatres. Plan on spending at least one hour for a two-theatre tour and at least 1 1/2 hours for a three-theatre tour. Tours are only available for those ages 8 and up.
• Groups affiliated with an educational organization pay a flat rate of $35 (up to 25 people) for a one-theatre or two-theatre tour, or a flat rate of $70 (up to 25 people) for a three-theatre tour.
• All other groups are charged $5 per person for a one-theatre or two-theatre tour or $8 per person for a three-theatre tour. Groups must have a minimum of five people. Groups of less than five pay a flat rate of $25.
• All private group tours must be arranged at least one week prior to the requested date.
