Affordable Homeschool Testing Services LLC

Offering untimed online MAP® and MPG® testing for grades k-12. Test at home on your own computer, iPad or chromebook. Adaptive tests allow for out-of-level testing, and our custom reports are designed specifically with the needs of homeschool parents in mind.

Tests offered: Measures of Academic Progress® (MAP®) and MAP® for Primary Grades (MPG®)

Grade levels tested: k-12

Test information: The MAP® and MPG® are nationally-normed standardized tests used in many public schools. They are computer-adaptive tests that adjust to fit your child as they take the test, whether they are working at, above, or below grade level. Because the test is tailored to your child’s learning level, it can measure their academic progress and growth in a brief test. Within 48 hours of completing the test, you’ll receive a thorough report designed specifically for the needs of homeschool parents by a homeschool parent, with the specific skills your child demonstrated in the test, what they are ready to learn next, and where they stand compared to current academic standards. Percentile ranking, grade equivalencies and lexile level are also included. We are offering the most recent version of the MAP® and MPG® and use 2015 norms.

Experience: Ellen Crain has been homeschooling in the Twin Cities metro for a decade, and is trained in administering and proctoring the MAP® and MPG® as well as interpreting the results.

Geographic area: Test at home online anywhere in the US, we administer the test remotely.

Costs: $60-$45 per test, depending on the number of students being tested.
