Unique & Personalized VIOLIN or VIOLA lessons!

Hello! My name is Anna Andrews, and I am a passionate and energetic violin and viola teacher in the West Metro area! I have been teaching in the Twin Cities since 2006, and teach all levels from beginner to advanced. As a former homeschooler for 12 years, I love the homeschooling community and enjoy teaching motivated homeschooled students. I graduated from St. Olaf College in 2010 with a Bachelor of Music degree in Violin Performance. Since then I have maintained a private music studio of about 30 students, have played in several community orchestras, perform in an Irish band and help lead worship at my local church. I have also been accepted to graduate music programs at Boston Conservatory and the New England Conservatory of Music.

As a classically trained musician, I teach a modified Suzuki approach to violin and viola playing. This means I emphasize BOTH ear training and note reading. I also am experienced in fiddling, church music and improvisation.

Whether you are an absolute beginner, or have your sights set on majoring music in college, I am here to challenge you and inspire you!
